The makers of Venkatesh and Priyamani’s Narappa, an official remake of the acclaimed Tamil revenge drama, Asuran, have just released the film’s first single. Titled Chalaaki Chinnammi, the song is a breezy and pleasant recreation of its Tamil original, Yen Minukki.
Chalaaki Chinnammi is beautifully sung by young playback singers Nutana Mohan and Aditya Iyengar, and popular lyricist Anantha Sriram adds earthy romance to the lyrics. Manisharma scores yet another time with this melodious number.
Karthik Ratnam, Rajeev Kanakala and others play key roles in this Srikanth Addala directorial. Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu are the producers. Narappa’s theatrical release date will be announced soon
