Nara Rohith, who recently starred in the serious political thriller Prathinidhi 2, is now shifting gears to comedy for his 20th film, Sundarakanda, directed by debutant Venkatesh Nimmalapudi. The film’s teaser was released today.
The teaser promises plenty of laughs, with Nara Rohith playing Siddharth, a man desperate to marry but with five unconventional conditions for his future spouse. No one is willing to meet these conditions, leaving Siddharth’s quest for marriage unresolved. The trailer and the film will reveal whether he finds his match.
Featuring Sridevi Vijaykumar and Virti Vaghani as the female leads, Sundarakanda is produced by Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli, with music by Leon James.
The release date for this comedy-drama has yet to be announced. The film also stars Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vasuki Anand, Satya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatham, Viswant, Rupa Lakshmi, Sunaina, Raghu Babu, Amrutham Vasu, Adhurs Raghu, and others.
