The much anticipated PAN Indian film Kantara: Chapter 1 is gearing up for a massive release on October 2, 2025, in multiple languages. Rishab Shetty is the director and he also played the lead. The first installment was a monstrous hit in Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi, thanks to Rishab Shetty’s award winning performance and strong technical aspects.
Though the prequel is just a few days away from hitting the big screens the promotions are yet to commence and this surprised movie buffs. Here’s the much awaited update that you all have been waiting for. The theatrical trailer of Kantara: Chapter 1 will be unveiled on September 22 at 12:45 PM.
The post-production works are underway. The advances already begun in the USA for premieres and the initial response is superb. The Telugu version’s pre-sales are on par with the Kannada version indicating the hype among the Telugu audience. Rukmini Vasanth and Gulshan Devaiah play prominent roles. Hombale Films is backing this big-ticket entertainer. Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer.
