Mega Power Star Ram Charan is currently busy with the shoot of Peddi. The rural sports action drama is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana and features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The makers are set to release the first song very soon, and movie buffs are quite excited as the music is composed by A.R. Rahman.
A while ago, Ram Charan casually revealed that Mohit Chauhan is the singer for the first single. The A.R. Rahman–Mohit Chauhan combo earlier delivered one of Indian cinema’s greatest albums, Rockstar, which makes this update even more special for fans.
Adding to the excitement, Buchi Babu Sana disclosed that the first single is titled “Chikiri.” The team has reportedly shot a special video for the song announcement, which is expected to drop soon. Peddi also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma, and is slated for release on March 27, 2026.
