Assembly Rowdy, was one of Mohan Babu’s biggest hits in his illustrious career. The cult classic completes 25 years today and on this occasion, Mohan Babu revealed some interesting facts about the film.
The legendary actor revealed that everyone in the industry said not to go ahead with the project with such a title. But he, okayed the film after seeing Paruchuri Gopala Krishna’s strong conviction that the film will do exceptionally well.
Mohan Babu also said that his team members were against signing Divya Bharathi as the female lead but he once again went ahead after seeing the positive result of Bobbili Raja. The film had some iconic dialogues which were written in just two days by Paruchuri Brothers says Mohan Babu.
Assembly Rowdy created a huge mass hysteria during its release time and also took comedian Brahmanandam to new heights in his career. Directed by B Gopal, Assembly Rowdy also featured the legendary actor Jaggaiah as Mohan Babu’s father.
