Teja Sajja, who delivered a huge hit with Hanu-Man, is now gearing up for his next big outing, Mirai. The film, directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, is locked for release on September 12, 2025. Promotions are already picking up pace, and the buzz around the project is pretty strong.

During a press meet yesterday, Teja faced a direct question from a journalist. She asked him why he often brings religion into his films. Teja, quick to catch the tone, gave a calm but sharp reply. He said, “No one questions filmmakers when they keep making the same love stories over and over again. Mirai has action, adventure, fantasy, and a lot more. What we’re doing is presenting our Dharma and morals in a cool way that today’s generation can connect with.”

The crowd clapped loudly after his response, and soon the clip started doing the rounds online. Social media users appreciated how confidently he handled the question, and many felt it only raised their curiosity to see Mirai on the big screen.

On the production side, the film has wrapped up its censor process. It got a U/A certificate and the final runtime is locked at 2 hours and 49 minutes, which means a pretty grand theatrical experience is on the way.

Besides Teja, the movie also has Manchu Manoj playing the villain, while Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, Ritika Nayak, and others will be seen in important roles. The film is produced by People Media Factory, with Gowra Hari composing the music. Mirai is heading for a massive multilingual release this September.
