The much-awaited teaser of Tamil superstar Vijay’s Mersal is wreaking havoc on social media. The teaser, which released at 6 pm yesterday, went on to become the world’s most liked movie teaser within 4 hours.
Until now, Mersal’s teaser has amassed a staggering 669K likes for nearly 9 million views on YouTube. Incidentally, Mersal’s teaser has surpassed the previous world record set by Thala Ajith’s Vivegam’s teaser.
Vijay will be seen playing three different roles in Mersal. Kajal, Samantha and Nitya Menen are the film’s female leads. Young director Atlee has helmed this prestigious 100th project of leading production house Sri Thenandal Films. AR Rahman’s music has thoroughly impressed fans.
