Pushpa 2: The Rule, headlined by Allu Arjun, is set to hit the big screens on December 5, 2024. The movie, directed by Sukumar, features Rashmika as the female lead. The PAN Indian action drama is expected to breach the Rs. 1000 crore club. The hype is massive in all the regions, and the makers are trying to cash in on it.
According to trade circles, Pushpa 2 needs to earn a distributor share of Rs. 212 crores from both Telugu states just to be in the safe zone. This is a massive target and the movie should get unanimous positive talk to reach the breakeven mark. Also, the ticket rates are going to play a key role.
It is said that the team is trying to get a massive hike from both states’ governments. Will the ticket rate enhancement be applicable only for the first weekend or for a period of 10 days? That remains to be seen. Among the recent biggies, Devara has had huge hikes, and we need to see if Pushpa 2 can get more hikes than the NTR starrer.
