Star producer Dil Raju is keenly anticipating the release of his upcoming biggie, Varasudu, featuring Vijay in the lead. This film is up for release coming Sankranthi season.
In his latest interaction with a media outlet, Dil Raju said “Mahesh Babu was first choice for Varasudu when Vamshi Paidipally first narrated the script. But Mahesh was committed to do another project so we couldn’t make it happen.”
Adding further, Raju said “Then we thought Ram Charan would be the right fit. But again, we were already collaborating for RC15. The timelines clashed and we couldn’t materialize the plan. Later I went to Vijay and that’s how this project happened.”
