The entire country is heartbroken following the tragic stampede that claimed 39 lives and injured over 50 people during Kollywood star and TVK chief Thalapathy Vijay’s campaign in Tamil Nadu’s Karur on Saturday night. A deeply devastated Vijay took X earlier today and announced a compensation of Rs 20 lakhs each to the families of the deceased and Rs 2 lakhs each to the injured.
Soon after the Karur tragedy, an X profile featuring Dragon actress Kayadu Lohar’s name and picture shared some outrageous tweets, claiming that she has lost a close friend in the stampede. The profile went on to heavily criticize Thalapathy Vijay for his “alleged negligence.” Needless to say, these posts went viral on social media in no time.
However, Kayadu Lohar took to her official X account on Sunday afternoon and issued the much-needed clarification. The young actress has stated that the Twitter (X) account circulating posts under her name is fake and that she doesn’t have any connection with it.
Kayadu went on to say that she is deeply saddened by the tragic incident at the Karur rally, and extended heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. She also clarified that she doesn’t have any personal friends in Karur, and the narrative being spread in her name is false. Kayadu is currently working on a film each with Simbu, GV Prakash Kumar, and Vishwak Sen.
