Vishal’s 12 year old film Madha Gaja Raja was released in Tamil as a Pongal special release in 2025. Shockingly, the film fared quite well and grossed Rs 50 crore.
The makers also released the film in Telugu but sadly, the result is not the same. The Vishal film has completed its first weekend and has posted dismal numbers of under a crore.
Sundar C has directed this film which is out of several screens already in Telugu states. Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played female leads in this film which also had Sonu Sood in a key role.
