Youthful entertainer Mad created a massive euphoria a couple of years ago. Starring Sangeeth Shobhan, Narne Nithin, and Ram Nithin in lead roles, this hilarious college drama was a commercial blockbuster at the ticket windows. The same team is now coming up with a sequel to this madcap entertainer titled Mad Square.
Two songs have been released so far, and they have received a solid response from movie buffs. Today, the makers launched the film’s teaser, which promises an out-and-out fun entertainer with crazy punches and witty dialogue. According to the teaser, the second part focuses on the male leads alone. The three protagonists go to Vishnu Oi’s marriage, and from there, they go to Goa along with the bridegroom to enjoy their bachelorhood.
Like the first part, the second installment also seems to rely more on the fun angle than the story, and this aspect worked pretty well in the teaser. Sangeeth Shooban’s comedy timing is superb, and he is nicely supported by Narne Nithin and Ram Nithin. Sizzling actress Priyanka Jawalkar plays a key role.
Mad Square is being directed by Kalyan Shankar, who also helmed the first installment. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya jointly bankroll the project under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners. Bheems Ceciroleo is the film’s music composer. Mad Square will be hitting the theaters worldwide on March 29.
