The new industry of Mollywood, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, has recently surged past the Rs. 300 crore gross mark at the global box office. The movie starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role is also a solid hit in Telugu and Tamil.
We have already stated that the film’s OTT rights were acquired by Jio Hotstar. The digital platform has officially confirmed the same now, and also dropped a teasing signal stating that the movie is “coming soon.” The reports suggest that the OTT premiere will happen on October 17, and movie buffs are just waiting for that confirmation from the streamer.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his banner Wayfarer Films, the movie also features Naslen Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Chandu Salim Kumar in crucial roles. Jakes Bejoy composed the tunes.
