Bollywood actress Ananya Panday made her Tollywood debut with Vijay Deverakonda’s pan-India action drama, Liger, in 2022. However, despite big names like Puri Jagannadh and Karan Johar being associated with it, Liger failed miserably and ended up being a colossal disaster in both Ananya’s and Vijay’s careers.
And Ananya has blamed her father and senior Bollywood actor Chunky Panday for asking her to sign Liger. Talking about Liger’s failure on We Are Yuvaa’s YouTube channel, Ananya said that she was “sad and upset” after Liger bombed and added that her dad was “at fault.” She then told her father, “We are not doing a film together again. You are not allowed to give me advice after Liger.”
The father-daughter duo shared the screen in Liger. Ananya made her presence felt in Bollywood with movies such as Gehraiyaan and CTRL and the Amazon Prime series Call Me Bae.
