Vishwak Sen is gearing up to entertain audiences with the action comedy entertainer Laila. The actor will be seen in a female get-up in this flick, which releases on February 14. Directed by Ram Narayan, the movie features Akanksha Sharma as the female lead. The theatrical trailer launched recently received trolls from a section of the audience.
A few opined that Vishwak Sen’s recent films lacked quality. Reacting to trolls, Vishwak Sen said, “It’s been not even one year since Gaami was released. Gangs of Godavari also had its own authenticity. Only Mechanic Rocky is a commercial film. People are labeling my films as routine entertainers just because of one film.”
Vishwak Sen added, “We are clearly projecting Laila as an entertainer. Don’t compare it to Gaami. This film’s poster itself conveys that it is a stress buster. Laila is not made for scientists in Film Nagar. I want the audience to laugh their hearts out, forgetting all their tensions. Laila can’t be made like a Mani Ratnam’s film.”
