SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’ game-changing Baahubali franchise is getting re-released as a single film under the title Baahubali: The Epic. The advance bookings are fantastic everywhere, and during the promotions, producer Shobu Yarlagadda teased moviegoers by stating that they have a surprise in store for the audience.
In the special interview featuring Prabhas, Rajamouli, and Rana Daggubati, the surprise factor was revealed unexpectedly. Rajamouli said, “People are thinking we will announce Baahubali 3 at the end of the film. It’s not Baahubali 3, but we are releasing the teaser of Baahubali: The Eternal War. It’s an animated film that is a continuation of the world of Baahubali.”
The Tollywood pride added, “Baahubali: The Eternal War is a high-end 3D animated movie that was made on a massive budget of Rs. 120 crores. The project was helmed by Ishan Shukla, a talented animation director. He told us how we can extend the Baahubali world, and I loved the idea. It is still the Baahubali characters within that space, but it completely takes a different tangent. They worked on two and a half years on the film.”
