The satellite rights to all the four South Indian versions of the highly-anticipated pan-India action drama, KGF Chapter 2, have been acquired by Zee Network South. This high budget period drama starring Sandalwood star Yash has inked a solid deal with Zee South, while the actual amount is undisclosed.
KGF 2’s release date, which has been mystery since many months due to Covid second wave, is expected to be announced soon. Also featuring Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh in key roles, this Prashanth Neel directorial is expected to hit screens later this year.
Vijay Kiragandur is bankrolling this magnum opus under his Hombale Films banner. Ravi Basrur is composing the soundtrack.
