Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar has now come up with the courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3, which is the third part of the much-loved Jolly LLB franchise. What makes this third part more special is that it brings together two Jollys, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi.
The film took a fair opening in India, collecting over Rs. 12.5 crores nett. Though the movie started a bit slow, it gained momentum as the day progressed, with evening and night shows registering very good occupancy. The film already started on a strong note today and will post good numbers over the weekend.
It’s been a while since Akshay Kumar’s film earned more than Rs. 200 crores nett in India, and we need to see if Jolly LLB 3 can get there. Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao, and Huma Qureshi reprised their roles from the first and second installments. Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, the movie is produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare under Star Studio 18 and Kangra Talkies.
