Malayalam cinema’s biggest star, Mohanlal has been chosen for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2023. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on Saturday.
Mohanlal, who is not only an acclaimed actor but also a director and producer, is being honoured for his unparalleled contribution to Indian cinema over four decades.
With more than 350 films to his credit across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, he is celebrated for his versatility, charisma, and dedication to the craft.
Regarded as one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema history, Mohanlal has previously been awarded the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. Here’s wishing him hearty congrats.
