Raghava Lawrence and horror films are a match made in heaven, and up next, he will be seen in the horror flick Chandramukhi 2. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut played the titular role in this big-budget film. Senior director P. Vasu helmed this project. Today, the team interacted with Telugu media in Hyderabad.
Kangana Ranaut said, “I acted in South films in the past. I acted in Ek Niranjan in Telugu. Now, I am coming up with Chandramukhi 2 to entertain the Telugu audience once again. Chandramukhi’s character will speak in Telugu in the film. Vasu Garu approached me for a warrior film, and that’s when I asked him who is playing Chandramukhi in Chandramukhi 2.”
Kangana continued,” Vasu Garu said they haven’t finalized any actress. I asked him if I could act in the movie, and he gave his nod. That’s how I became part of this project. Just like Chandramukhi, horror and comedy elements will be in the right mix in Chandramukhi 2. Though Chandramukhi has been made in several languages, Jyothika’s performance remains iconic. Chandramukhi will possess Jyothika in the first part. But in Chandramukhi 2, Chandramukhi’s character will return, and Vasu Garu designed my character in a superb manner.
