The other day, it was announced that star hero Jr. NTR’s upcoming movie Devara is scheduled for a grand release on 10th October 2024, which is during the Dusshera weekend. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, is based on the forgotten coastal lands of India. Interestingly, Devara will compete with Thandel, which is also set against the sea backdrop.
Thandel, headlined by Naga Chaitanya, is written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Today, the director revealed that they are planning to bring the movie to the theatres during the Dussehra festive season. Naga Chaitanya will be seen alongside the dancing queen Sai Pallavi in this romantic drama blended with patriotic elements. Thandel is the most expensive and most prestigious project in Chaitanya’s career.
Naga Chaitanya’s last few films disappointed the audience. Though Dhootha is a smashing hit on OTT, a theatrical hit is due from Chaitu, and he pinned all his hopes on Thandel. Naga Chaitanya plays a fisherman in this flick who gets captured by the Pakistan government. Bunny Vas is producing it on a massive scale, while Allu Arvind is the presenter.
