Tollywood was left shaken by sudden IT raids on prominent figures in the industry. The raids were carried out yesterday on Dil Raju, Shirish, Hanshitha Reddy, Tejaswini, Mango Media, Mythri Movie Makers, and others in Hyderabad and nearby areas.
IT officials questioned them regarding their properties. It is heard that director Sukumar also came under scrutiny. As per media reports, he was taken directly from the airport to his residence, where the officials conducted raids. They examined bank details, transactions, and lockers.
Sukumar recently delivered the blockbuster Pushpa 2, which grossed over Rs. 1800 crore. Whether the raids are connected to the film’s collections or his remuneration remains to be seen. Further details are awaited.
