Superstar Mahesh Babu and Vamshi Paidipally have worked together on the Maharshi film, which brought commercial success as well as massive respect to the team. The movie also bagged two National awards in the categories of ‘Best popular film providing wholesome entertainment’ and ‘Best choreography.’
Vamshi Paidipally was supposed to work with Mahesh after Maharshi. In one of the interviews, the director was asked if he had narrated Varisu’s story to Mahesh. Vamshi clarified that he didn’t narrate Varisu’s plot to the star actor.
He further stated that he narrated another plot to Mahesh post-Maharshi and added it didn’t take off due to the commitments of the Okkadu actor back then. After Maharshi, I narrated Varisu’s soul to Thalapathy, which impressed the Tamil star, and we went ahead with it, said Vamshi.
