Tollywood star producer Dil Raju’s brother Shirish Reddy’s comments on hero Ram Charan in a recent interview deeply hurt the actor’s fans. Thousands of Mega fans took to social media, trended several hashtags, and even called for a ban on Dil Raju and Shirish’s production house, Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Witnessing the Mega storm, Shirish released an open letter. “I have been informed that fans misunderstood the comments I made in an interview and are deeply upset,” said the producer. Shirish went on to state that Ram Charan stood like a pillar of support during the making of Game Changer. “We share a close bond with Megastar Chiranjeevi Sir’s family and Ram Charan. We will never speak of anything that may damage their reputation,” Shirish wrote in his open letter.
Prior to Shirish’s letter, his brother Dil Raju interacted with the media and attempted to clarify his brother’s comments. Dil Raju said that Shirish got emotional and that his comments are misunderstood by everyone.
