With great confidence and determination regarding his content, Awe and Zombie Reddy fame director Prashanth Varma released the Indian Superhero flick Hanu Man during this Sankranthi amidst big films. While everyone raised their eyebrows at his brave step, Prasanth Varma’s strong belief came to fruition as the film became a sensational blockbuster. Till now, the movie has collected an impressive 200 gross worldwide.
Not only the Telugu but the Hindi version of this Teja Sajja starrer is also doing extraordinary numbers at the ticket windows. To everyone’s surprise, the 11th-day collection of this film is greater than the first day of its release. On its 11th day, the movie accumulated 2.33 crores nett, whereas the first day collections were 2.15 crores nett. The total collections till now in Hindi are 36.54 crores nett.
It seems the Hindi version will wrap up between 50-60 crores in the long run. But that will depend on Hrithik Roshan’s aerial action film, Fighter, which is releasing on the 25th of January. If Fighter gets good talk, it might affect the box office prospects of HanuMan to an extent. But again, the extended Republic Day weekend will surely benefit HanuMan.
Hanu Man also has Vinay Rai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, Vennela Kishore, Raj Deepak Shetty, Satya, and Getup Srinu in key roles. Niranjan Reddy bankrolled this film under the banner of Prime Show Entertainment. Gowra Hari composed the background score.
