Only a few days remain for the global debut of Pawan Kalyan’s first pan-Indian film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit. Directed by Jyothi Krisna, the film stars Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead and is presented by AM Rathnam.
In a recent interview, AM Rathnam clarified that Pawan Kalyan’s character is entirely fictional. He explained that the name “Hari Hara” symbolises a blend of Vishnu (Hari) and Shiva (Hara), chosen to reflect the character’s spiritual essence. He also revealed that, in the film, the character is found abandoned during a flood and raised in a temple, growing up an orphan shaped by dharma and devotion.
The film follows his fight against Aurangzeb while upholding Sanatan Dharma, setting the stage for a powerful ideological and physical clash. The producer dismissed rumors linking the character to historical figures, stressing its originality.
The cast also includes Bobby Deol, Nassar, Vennela Kishore, and Sunil among others. Produced by A Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Productions banner, the film features music by Oscar winner M M Keeravaani and will release in multiple languages on July 24, 2025.
