Veteran producer AM Rathnam’s prestigious pan-India project, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is gearing up for its world theatrical release on July 24 amid sky-high expectations. Starring leading Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen role of a rebel outlaw who takes on the mighty Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, the AM Jyoti Krishna directorial also features Bollywood star Bobby Deol and young actress Nidhhi Agerwal in lead roles.

AM Rathnam opened up about HHVM, his bond with Pawan Kalyan, and much more in a recent interview. “HHVM’s story is set in the 17th century backdrop. Contrary to the speculations, the film’s story is fictitious and not inspired by any real person or character. Hari Hara is a union of Lord Vishnu and Lord Siva. Veera Mallu denotes the warrior rebel role portrayed by Pawan Kalyan,” said AM Rathnam.

“Many people wondered if HHVM will be successful at the box office. 90 percent of my movies have been superhits. With that experience, I can assure you all that HHVM will be a sure-shot success,” he added. The star producer went on to reveal that they initially didn’t plan to release HHVM in two parts but decided to plan a sequel as the film’s span became huge during the making.

Talking about his bond with Pawan Kalyan, AM Rathnam said, “HHVM is my third film with Pawan Kalyan after Khushi and Bangaram. We share an association of almost 25 years. HHVM wouldn’t have been possible without his support. More than an actor, I admire Pawan Kalyan as a man with good intentions. He has become a national leader now, and HHVM will surely reach a wide audience across the country,” he concluded.
