Janhvi Kapoor, one of the busiest actresses in tinsel town, is currently shooting Peddi with Ram Charan. Even with her packed schedule, she managed to catch the Telugu film The Girlfriend.
The film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Dheekshith Shetty and is directed by Rahul Ravindran. It recently landed on Netflix in several languages, including Hindi.
After watching it, Janhvi took to Instagram to share her verdict. Her reaction was brief but emphatic: “Mandatory watch.” The line makes her admiration for the film clear, and now the focus shifts to how many Bollywood celebrities might pick up the recommendation.
The drama also features Rao Ramesh, Anu Emmanuel, Rahul Ravindran, Rohini Molleti and others. Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni produced the film. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the songs, and Prashanth R. Vihari handled the background score.
