According to trade pundits, Ram Charan’s Game Changer, directed by Shankar, is a huge disaster at the box office with less than 50% recovery. The big-ticket entertainer produced by Dil Raju incurred losses in every region but the film’s performance in one territory has come as a shocker to one and all.
Fans expected that this political action drama would rake in good collections from Tamil Nadu due to Shankar’s brand value and Vidaamuyarchi’s postponement. However, Game Changer only earned a little over Rs. 10 crores gross in Tamil Nadu till now and these numbers are disappointing, to say the least.
The negative talk hampered the film’s prospects in the long run, but what’s appalling is that Game Changer failed to get decent openings, too. The biggie got a wide release in big capacity screens, yet it failed to make any impact during the festive season. Kiara Advani played the female lead, and SJ Suryah played the antagonist.
