After Comali and Love Today, young Tamil actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan has scored a hat-trick with the just-released youthful entertainer, Dragon (Return of the Dragon in Telugu). Also starring Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar in lead roles, the film was released in cinemas worldwide today and received a thumping response from all quarters.
Buoyed by the positive response for Dragon, Pradeep took to X this evening and shared an inspiring message for his fans. “If you try, it will certainly happen,” the message read. It’s worth mentioning that Pradeep’s Telugu speech during Return of the Dragon’s pre-release event had won the hearts of Telugu audiences. Apart from romance and entertainment, Dragon also served some much-needed inspiration to the young audience, who could relate to Pradeep’s character.
Dragon is directed by young Tamil filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu of Oh My Kadavule (Ori Devuda in Telugu) fame. The film is produced by Archana Kapapathi under the AGS Entertainment banner. Dragon has surpassed Dhanush’s NEEK at the box office. Trade analysts predict that the film will end up grossing over Rs 5 crore on its opening day.
