While Premalu 2 was officially launched, recent buzz suggested that the project had hit a pause. Co-producer Dileesh Pothan confirmed the temporary halt, and rumours swirled that lead actor Naslen wasn’t fully happy with how the script was shaping up.
In the midst of this uncertainty, Girish AD announced his next film, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, a romantic drama starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, produced by Bhavana Studios, the same banner behind Premalu.
Now comes the update fans have been waiting for: Premalu 2 is not cancelled. Girish AD himself has confirmed that the sequel is still very much in the works and will move forward after he completes Bethlehem Kudumba Unit.
