There have been rumors that Varasudu is a Tamil remake of Maharshi. The team had denied the same already.
At the pre release event of Varsudu(Varisu in Tamil), Dil Raju spoke at length about the film. He again confirmed that it’s not a remake.
“Varasudu is not a remake nor is it a sequel of any film. It is a proper Tamil film that caters to the family audience. All I can say is that the family audience will have a feast in theaters this Sankranthi season.” Dil Raju said.
The star producer added that Vijay is an absolute superstar and he thoroughly enjoyed working with the latter for Varasudu.
