Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran’s Bison is running successfully in theatres. The movie is produced by Applause Entertainments and Neelam Studios with Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal presenting it. Ranjith and Aditi Anand produced it. Mari Selvaraj directed this flick and Niwas K. Prasanna composed the tunes.
Bison is releasing in Telugu on October 24 under the banner of Jagadamba Films. A press meet was conducted in Hyderabad during which Dhruv Vikram said, “I came to Hyderabad for the first time to promote Bison in Telugu. So this film is very special for me. I came here a few days ago for shopping. There the shop owner saw me and said ‘You look like Vikram’. Yes…I said I am his son.”
He added, “My father spoke a lot about his difficulties and experiments for the film. He came without any background and rose to this level. But as his son, everything came easily to me. But like him I will work hard to earn everyone’s love. I want to act in Telugu. I worked hard for ‘Bison’ for three years. Watch this movie. Support if you like. Like my father, I also work very hard and give 100% effort. If my son also comes like this.. I want him to go to the level of saying ‘Your father likes Dhruv a lot’.”
The movie is based on the story of Arjuna awardee Manathi Ganesan. Speaking further Dhruv said, “Mari Selvaraj sir writes stories based on the experiences and events he has seen in his life. He wants to educate people. I learned kabaddi for this movie. I want everyone to watch our movie in Telugu and this is not about numbers. Telugu audiences will surely like our movie.
