Hindi film De De Pyaar De 2 brings Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and R. Madhavan together in a fresh rom-com directed by Anshul Sharma.
The film, released last Friday, had a steady weekend, with Sunday clearly leading the way. It earned Rs. 15.21 crores nett on Sunday, taking the overall India total to Rs. 38.43 crores nett. The worldwide gross stands at Rs. 58.60 crores.
Monday will be the real test, and the numbers will show whether the film can hold strong through the week.
The film is written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, and also features Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezaan Jafri and a few other familiar faces. It is backed by T-Series Films and Luv Films.
