Thalapathy Vijay, who has been doing mass films lately is now coming up with a proper family entertainer Varisu. He has given a chance to Telugu director Vamsi Paidipally to handle the project. The songs released so far have registered terrific responses, and Ranjithame has hit 100 million views on Youtube.
The latest update from the production company is that the grand audio launch event of the film will be held on 24th December from 4 PM onwards. The buzz is that Nehru Indoor stadium in Chennai is locked as the venue. Also, many surprises are said to be planned for this event.
Rashmika Mandanna plays the love interest of Vijay, and the film has seasoned artists like Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, and Jayasudha in crucial roles. Dil Raju is bankrolling it under Sri Venkateswara Creations, and Thaman is the music composer.
