Last seen in the hit film Kuberaa, Dhanush recently completed his Hindi movie Tere Ishk Mein and has now begun shooting for his new Tamil film, tentatively titled D54.
Por Thozhil fame Vignesh Raja is directing the film, which commenced shooting today. The makers announced the start with a poster featuring Dhanush standing somberly in a scorched cotton field, with flames rising in the background.
The film stars Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Jayaram, KS Ravikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, and Prithvi Pandiraj are also part of the key cast.
The project is produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International in association with Think Studios. Stay tuned for more updates.
