D for Dopidi to release in Summer

The theatrical release of D for Dopidi starring Varun Sandesh, Sundeep Kishan, Naveen and Rakesh has been pushed to summer this year. Initially, the makers were planning to release the film as a Valentine’s Day special; however, Varun Sandesh’s Chammak Challo is releasing on February 15 and Sundeep Kishan will be busy promoting Gundello Godari which is slated for release on February 21. As both the lead actors of the film have prior commitments, the makers of D for Dopidi decided to release the film in summer. Melanie Kannokada has also played one of the lead roles in this film which revolves around a bank robbery gone wrong. Siraj Kalla is the director and Raj & DK have produced it. Mahesh Shankar has scored the music.
