The Prabhas starrer went on to collect Rs. 1100 crores at the worldwide box office, and excitement is massive for the second installment. Due to Prabhas’ busy line-up, it will take some time for Part 2 to go on floors.
Hence, Nag Ashwin is said to have decided to do one film before the commencement of Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2. A few months ago, reports claimed that the director held discussions with Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt. Now rumors are rife that Nag Ashwin met Superstar Rajinikanth and narrated him an idea.
Superstar is said to have liked the concept and asked the young director to come up with a complete script. Earlier, Vivek Athreya from Tollywood also met Rajini, but there has been no development on the project. We need to see whether Nag Ashwin collaborates with Thalaivar or if it remains a mere speculation.
