Amaran, headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, is one of the biggest hits of Kollywood this year. With more than Rs. 320 crores gross, the film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy left a solid impression on the audience. Sai Pallavi played the female lead. The film was declared a box office blockbuster in Telugu as well.
Amaran is now available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages along with English subtitles on Netflix. The theatrical window is five weeks. The OTT release was delayed by a week due to the film’s exceptional performance in theatres.
Amaran is based on Major Mukund Varadharajan’s life. Those who missed watching this biographical film can now stream it on Netflix. Amaran is jointly produced by Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran, and Vivek Krishnan. GV Prakash Kumar composed the tunes.
