Kollywood blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan-1, directed by the maverick filmmaker Maniratnam, is now in news again. Having Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Trisha in lead roles, the biggie is all set for its world television premiere.
The popular television channel Sun TV has officially announced that the movie will have its world TV premiere on January 8, 2023, at 06:30 PM. An official promo was also released to announce the same.
Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions joined forces to bankroll this period action drama. AR Rahman took care of the film’s music. Recently, the makers announced that Ponniyin Selvan-2 will be out in theaters on April 28, 2023.
