National award-winning actor Dhanush’s next release is SIR/Vaathi, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film. Samyukta Menon is the leading lady, and the movie is written and directed by Venky Atluri. It is bankrolled by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios presents the film.

After a good response to the first single, Mastaaru Mastaaru, the makers have now launched the second single, Banjara. Penned by national award-winning lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja, the song is sung by Anurag Kulkarni. It is a foot-tapping motivational song set in a rustic backdrop. The song emphasizes the larger truths of life and depicts Dhanush fighting for a cause.

The song also has sarcasm and excellent wordplay, which talks about the need for a human to rise above the ‘I, me, myself’ approach. Suddhala Ashok Teja’s lyrics are brilliant, while Anurag’s voice took the song to the next level. GV Prakash’s music is exemplary. GV Prakash is also seen in the lyrical video, and the song also has Dhanush’s dance moves.

Suddhala Ashok Teja stated that the song is situational in the film, which talks about the innate philosophy of life and the purpose beneath our existence. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, and Shara play key roles which will release simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil across the globe on February 17, 2023.
