Kantara: Chapter 1 headlined and directed by Rishab Shetty is scheduled for a grand release on October 2 in multiple languages. The action drama is carrying solid expectations since the first installment was a mega blockbuster at the box office grossing over Rs. 400 crores.
The Telugu version will have a massive release and NTR will be gracing the pre-release event scheduled for tomorrow. Kantara Chapter 1 will likely have a ticket rate hike of Rs. 50 in Andhra Pradesh. The G.O. is expected to come out soon.
Rukmini Vasanth played the female lead. Bollywood actor Gulshan Devaiah essayed the antagonist. Jayaram, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Thuminad, and others played supporting roles. Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films backed this biggie. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the tunes.
