Balayya’s fiery screen presence, donning a majestic long grey beard and radiating an aura of mythic power, literally gave a ‘Thaandavam’ experience to his fans.
Thanks to the phenomenal response, Akhanda 2’s teaser has set a new record in Balakrishna’s career. The teaser clocked a sensational 24 million views and 590K likes on YouTube within 24 hours of its release, thereby entering the top 5 most-viewed Tollywood teasers in a single day and an all-time record among senior stars. This is the highest social media presence a Balayya movie teaser has ever registered to date. Adding to the frenzy, the teaser, especially the shot where the trident encircling Balayya’s throat and killing baddies, has set social media ablaze.
Pragya Jaiswal and Samyukta Menon are the leading ladies in Akhanda 2, while Aadhi Pinisetty essays the main antagonist. The film will feature a soundtrack composed by Thaman. Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta are bankrolling the project under their 14 Reels Plus banner. This high-budget pan-India biggie is slated for release on September 25, 2025.
