Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 is now the biggest Indian grosser of the year, surpassing Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. A couple of days ago, we reported on the possibility of the period action drama making it to the OTT in the last week of October.
The latest update reveals that Kantara: Chapter 1 will have its OTT premiere on October 31st. The film’s streaming partner, Prime Video, took to its social media handles to officially announce the streaming date. The biggie will be available in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam audios from the said date.
The Hindi version won’t be released anytime soon, following the guidelines of the Multiplex Association of India. The tent-pole film, also starring Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram, is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the tunes.
