The record for biggest grossing English film in India is held by Avengers End Game which collected Rs 370 crores at the domestic box office.
Now, Avatar 2 is on course to break this record as it has collected Rs 333 crores at the domestic box office.
At this rate, the film could be collecting over Rs 400 crores India wide, which could be a massive record for the James Cameron directorial.
It will all depend on how the film performs at the regional box office this week. A solid Rs 30 crore weekend will push it closer to the all time record.
