Recently, Dil Raju registered the title Arya 3 with the Film Chamber, and rumors swirled that the threequel will feature Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish Reddy as the lead hero. This speculation didn’t go well with netizens, who demanded that Allu Arjun himself reprise the iconic Arya character. During the promotions of Thammudu, Dil Raju dismissed the rumors about casting Ashish in Arya 3.
The ace producer said, “During a casual conversation with Sukumar, we stumbled upon an exciting idea. It has the potential to be as trend-setting as Arya. A filmmaker who has immense passion for cinema just like Sukumar is the perfect choice to helm such a project. Once the script is finalized, we will begin the search for protagonist. Ashish is not playing the lead.”
