OTT Releases This Week: OG, Kurukshetra, Mahabharat, Param Sundari, Lokah and more are coming to Netflix, Prime Video, Jio Hotstar, and other platforms

The Diwali week is here, and we’ve put together a list of movies and series dropping on OTT platforms this week. Keep your favourites checked from the list below.

Rider:

This is a short released on ETV Win yesterday under the series Katha Sudha. This love tale stars Raavan Reddy Nitture and Meghana in the lead roles and is directed by Kishore Gunana.

Mirage:

Mollywood director Jeethu Joseph’s recent psychological thriller Mirage made its way to Sony LIV on October 19, 2025. Starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali, the film was a flop in theaters. Available in multiple languages, including Telugu, on OTT, it now has a chance to reach a wider audience.

Pitch to Get Rich S1:

Pitch to Get Rich Season 1 is India’s first fashion-focused entrepreneurial reality show, streaming on Jio Hotstar from October 20, 2025. 14 fashion startups pitch to a star-studded panel including Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Malaika Arora.

They Call Him OG:

Pawan Kalyan’s recent sensation They Call Him OG, directed by Sujeeth, is set to stream on Netflix on October 23, 2025, in multiple languages except Hindi. Audiences expecting an uncut version will have to wait and see if their expectations are met.

Bhadrakaali:

Vijay Antony’s latest film Shakthi Thirumagan (Bhadrakaali in Telugu) is a political drama that received a mixed response in theaters. Directed by Arun Prabu, the movie will now be available on Jio Hotstar from October 24, 2025.

Kurukshetra S2:

Netflix’s animated original Kurukshetra, which explored the epic Mahabharata, has been renewed for Season 2 following positive audience reactions. The new season, available in Telugu as well, will stream from October 24, 2025, featuring 9 fresh episodes.

Param Sundari:

Janhvi Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra’s romantic saga Param Sundari is already streaming on Amazon Prime Video, but users need to pay rent. Starting October 24, 2025, the movie will be free for Prime subscribers, but no Telugu version is available.

Mahabharat – Ek Dharmayudh:

India’s first AI-powered mythological series, Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh, will stream on Jio Hotstar from October 25, 2025. This 100-episode series blends traditional storytelling with modern technology, offering a visually immersive and emotionally engaging experience. Directed by Lavanya, details about Telugu language availability are yet to be confirmed.
