Actress Anupama Parameswaran had a busy day as her much-anticipated courtroom drama Janaki V vs State of Kerala hit theatres today in Malayalam and Hindi, notably skipping a Telugu release. While the film opened in select regions, the actress was spotted in Hyderabad, attending the grand launch of the second single from her upcoming bilingual film, Paradha.
Directed by Praveen Kandregula, best known for Cinema Bandi and Subham, Paradha is a Telugu–Malayalam bilingual confirmed to release on August 22, 2025. The announcement was made alongside the launch of the film’s second single, “Yatra Naryasthu”, which celebrates feminine strength and freedom.
Paradha features a strong ensemble cast including veteran actress Sangeetha Krish and acclaimed Malayalam star Darshana Rajendran, who makes her Telugu debut with this film. Anupama leads the narrative as a woman navigating complex social and spiritual challenges, set against a culturally rich backdrop.
The film is produced by Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva, under the Ananda Media banner. Music is composed by Gopi Sundar, who is expected to deliver a soulful soundtrack blending traditional and contemporary elements.
