Constable Kanakam is a crime investigative thriller, and the first season’s climax ended on a cliffhanger, hinting at a second season. The makers have now revealed that Constable Kanakam 2 will be released next month, and the official date will be revealed very soon.
The show is set in Repalle, Srikakulam, during the 1990s. The village is home to a mysterious place called Adavi Gutta, and women who enter there will vanish without a trace. Things take a serious turn when Kanaka Mahalakshmi, a.k.a. Kanakam (Varsha Bollamma), a local constable, begins investigating after her friend Chandrika (Megha Lekha) goes missing.
Rajeev Kanakala, Srinivas Avasarala, Ramana Bhargav, Kancherapalem Kishore, Jwala Koti, Rakendu Mouli & others played key roles. Kovelamudi Satya Saibaba and Vemuri Hemanth Kumar produced this web series.
