The makers of Purushaha have been generating steady buzz with their quirky promotional material. Presented by Battula Saraswathi and produced under Kalyan Productions, the film marks the debut of Pavan Kalyan, son of producer Battula Koteswara Rao. He is joined by Sapthagiri and Kasireddy Rajkumar in this wholesome family entertainer directed by Veeru Vulavala.
The first look of the film has been unveiled by acclaimed filmmaker Srikanth Odela. The poster features Pavan Kalyan, Sapthagiri and Kasireddy Rajkumar in colourful superhero avatars. Each character carries a symbolic element like a pigeon, a love emblem or scissors. Although the trio appear powerful, the film humorously highlights that these superheroes turn powerless when it comes to handling their wives. The tagline “Brahmachari Bhartha Kavalani Nirnayinchukunna Tharvatha Jeevitham Yuddhabhoomigaa Maaruthundi” captures the theme of married life turning into a battlefield.
The film has a strong supporting cast that includes Vennela Kishore, VTV Ganesh, Rajeev Kanakala, Pammi Sai, Mirchi Kiran and others. Vaishnavi Kokkura, Vishika, Hasini Sudheer, Gabi Rock and Anaira Gupta play the female leads. The technical team features Satish Muthyala as the cinematographer, Shravan Bharadwaj as the music director, Koti as the editor and Ravibabu Dondapati as the art director.
